Collaborations with Chris Ferrie for his Baby University series

Chris Ferrie has a wildly popular series called Baby University where he tackles advanced concepts like Quantum Physics and Rocket Science and puts them into simple terms we all can understand. Every book in the core series uses the analogy of a ball to help describe the topic, so it’s a lot of fun to see how the ball concept is utilized each time. I’m so happy to announce a collaboration with Chris on four of the titles in the series. Take a look at them and be sure to check out all his other Baby University books! Bacteria and Antibiotics

Bacteria and Antibiotics

Join us at Baby Medical School as we learn about bacteria and antibiotics, including a close look at penicillin and its mechanism of action, the principles of antibiotic resistance, and the effect of antibiotics on our microbiome. Don’t be intimidated! This book is made for babies through children in elementary school, but adults, students, scientists, and doctors will be sure to love it, too!

The ABCs of Biochemistry

The ABCs of Biochemistry

The ABCs of Biochemistry is a fun, tongue-in-cheek tour of biochemistry using the letters of the alphabet. Each letter has a rhyme and full page illustration for the associated concept. This book is more for scientist parents to read to their babies, as some concepts in this book are not easy for children to grasp (gel electrophoresis, isotopic labeling, sequencing) but if you enjoy reading a book, then your kid will enjoy it, too! Mine does! Click on the image above to buy from Amazon.
